Who| South Dakota and You!
What| South making bad-life decisions (aka brother avoidance)
Where| Around the Ship and Legion World
When| First half of March
Warnings/Notes| Language, will add as necessary
South Dakota has never been accused of being a wholly mature person who makes informed decisions after careful consideration. Case in point, when her twin brother arrives on Legion she does her best to avoid him; she's not ready to give up her new-found Independence. On the same hand, though, he's always been an intergral part of her life and the moments she'd spent here without him always felt weird on some level.
So, with these two warring sides, she's been attempting to avoid him in general, and using her power to assume other people's personas when she couldn't sneak past him. So sometimes you might run into someone you swore you just left somewhere else, or - as the case is as the month wears on - you might see someone transforming into someone else as she comes or goes from where ever North is currently.
Feel free to run into any of the following that are actually South Dakota in disguise; South Dakota, America, Dave Strider, Texas, Robbie, or perhaps even random animals.

bwahahaha hope this works!
Which is why she's gone with a spider on the wall. Cats can't reach and people won't!
Then this bastard comes along and starts getting handsy. There's no winning here, is there? She tucks her legs in at first, then tries to scurry off away from him.
i'll chock up him reaching for a spider on the grounds that he's nucking futs
And like that, he plucks her from the wall. Despite being a chunky metal prosthetic, his hold on her is feather-light to avoid hurting her but too rigid to let her escape and get to, say, something she can bite and actually cause damage.
"Where did ya even come from...? I got a place I can keep ya, as long as ya promise not ta get underfoot."
Because those are promises that spiders can make. Right?
I figured if anyone would handle a spider it'd be him
this is why the spider episode of peppa pig is banned in australia
"Good enough!"
And here he goes, taking off at a comfortable limping pace towards, of all places, the habitat deck, making way to his own. Once he gets there, he picks a pale green shrub and hovers his hand against the top of it, opening his hand so that she can crawl out at her own pace.
"Here ya go. Make yerself at home!"
precisely XD
Oh god what has she gotten herself into. She turns around and watches him through her eight beady little eyes ... then she gives up the ghost and shifts back into South.
Yeah sorry about your shrub there. She gets up and starts dusting herself off.
"Who the fuck pets a spider?!"

He comes back out of the trailer, a bottle of beer in one hand, expecting to see someone else standing there, but what does he see? A blonde chick standing over the bush that he'd left his new guest in. Eh, she'll be right. The bush has always dealt with harsher realities than getting sat on.
Well then. Junkrat's face twists into an amused smirk, leaning against the side of his camper and using his mechanical thumb to simply pop off the cap of the bottle, letting it fall to the ground unceremoniously with a plink.
"Ya weren't some kinda funnel-webber, so I figured y'd be safe enough ta handle. The real question is, who turns into a spider and then rides around in a bloke's hand to his intended destination? I've made roasted spider before, ya know. I'll do it again. Good source'a protein."

"Look, I wasn't expecting anyone to pick me up and I wasn't about to change while you were carrying me." She points at his beer. "You got another one of those?"
no subject
Given how much this place is a dump, that might sound like she would've gotten the better end of the stick if she had revealed herself earlier. But on the other hand:
Beer.
"Sure, mate. Not gonna bring someone to me place and not offer 'em a coldie. What'll ya have, somethin' dry or sweet?"
no subject
"So, you could have this place look like anything, why go with a wasteland?"
no subject
Junkrat laughs at her choice of words. She's denser than she looks? "Guess that's why ya hitched a ride as a spider on a stranger, huh?"
Obtuse sense of humor with puns aside, Junkrat ducks back into his camper and grabs another, different brand of beer. He pops the cap off of it like the first one, handing it to her before flopping into a beat-up folding lawn chair under a canvas awning that will have to pass as his front porch. There's another one open, if she cares to take a seat.
"Had plenty'a ideas," he says, taking a fond look over all of the nothingness and red soil. "Tried a few things fer size, nothin' felt quite roight. Not that I was short on inspiration, I've been to a lot of pretty spiffy places over the past couple'a years, but none of 'em really seemed to fill the hole."
He gestures vaguely into the distance.
"Ended up goin' with somethin' a bit more nostalgic. Here we are, who knows how many lightyears from where we came, goin'ta different planets and meetin' different species and aliens, and I think--at the end of the day--it's good ta come back home to a place that feels like home."
