South Dakota has never been accused of being a wholly mature person who makes informed decisions after careful consideration. Case in point, when her twin brother arrives on Legion she does her best to avoid him; she's not ready to give up her new-found Independence. On the same hand, though, he's always been an intergral part of her life and the moments she'd spent here without him always felt weird on some level.

So, with these two warring sides, she's been attempting to avoid him in general, and using her power to assume other people's personas when she couldn't sneak past him. So sometimes you might run into someone you swore you just left somewhere else, or - as the case is as the month wears on - you might see someone transforming into someone else as she comes or goes from where ever North is currently.

Feel free to run into any of the following that are actually South Dakota in disguise; South Dakota, America, Dave Strider, Texas, Robbie, or perhaps even random animals.

Abort, abort! Except the best thought that comes tpo her head right now is to mirror Tex until she can get away.

"What the fuck?"

Up until that moment, she'd merely been thinking someone had decided to steal her trademark armor color. The sound of her own voice returning to her, repeating the same phrase she had just said, is altogether unexpected. It raises her hackles in a way that little else could have, and she rushes in and grabs her doppelganger by the neck.

"Who are you?" she demands.

Well fuck this is the exact opposite of what she wanted to happen. Without thinking she shifts into one of the more terrifying not-Tex people she knows; The Director, who then sputters in a Southern rage;

"Agent Texas, you are out of line! Unhand me at once!"

She had thought for years about what she would do if she ever got a hold of the Director. Certainly she would be able to throttle him to death if she thought she wanted to, but there's enough baggage there between them, enough sentiment, that she never quite felt she'd be able to take that course. And that's indeed what appears to be the case, because she's startled enough to let him go completely.

A moment later, she regrets her surprise, and snatches for his lapels again. There's no telling if this person is truly Leonard, considering how this whole exchange had begun. And even if it is him, she's not going to simply let him go if she can help it.

For a moment she thinks she's got this - hah even Tex is terrified by him. She stands and tugs at her uniform to straighten it out and is almost turned to leave when Tex grabs her again, and this time she's surprised enough that she drops the illusion and struggles wildly to get away.

"Alright - alright! Let me go! Fucking crazy bitch!"

"South Dakota," she hisses, recognizing the voice. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" She releases the figure before her, violently throwing her back.

She's back in her original Southy form - shaggy blond hair and scar and panicked scowl in all its glory. She attempts to catch her footing as Texas drops her, just barely keeping from falling on her ass by throwing a hand out to catch the wall.

"What the fuck does it matter to you?"
