Blue Rose ❄ 001

Who| Karina Lyle and YOU!
What| Multiple Choice!
Where| Legion World!
When| Irrelevant
Warnings/Notes| Shouldn't be anything big.

Sim Room: It had taken some nagging, but Karina had gotten what she wanted from Brainiac 5. Namely, getting him to hook up the Anywhere Machine to the sim room's computers so that she didn't actually have to program stuff that she didn't know. She'd tried for about ten minutes, gotten frustrated, and gone down to the Science Labs to bend his ear about it. Karina had to give him credit, he worked fast. With only the caveat being that she couldn't peek into anyone's past without permission, she had what she wanted.

First thing she did? Procure a copy of her entire discography. Second... Playing around with the villains on these computers was useless. They had such stupid names. And there was one question that, finally, she could have answered. One-on-one, could she win?

The sim room is marked 'occupied', but it's usually safe to walk in anyway. Usually. This time, however, whoever's coming in might have to duck a burst of blue-green flame coming off from the side. Hope whoever walked in didn't just get their hair done, because it's steamy in there. Between the half-melted pillars of ice, twisted, melted metal, the blue-green fires flickering, it's hard to tell that this place was modeled after a jail. Blue Rose herself is glancing around from behind the stairs, reloading her freezing liquid guns. She doesn't seem to notice the fact that she's got a guest, so if they want to halt the action, it's up to them. Or they could join in. Either way.

Hab Area: One common misconception about hab areas that some new Legionnaires have is that they're private living areas and not just open for anyone to walk in whenever they like. If they want privacy, that's what their crew quarters are for. Fortunately, since Karina's expecting at least one pair of visitors, she's not doing anything too embarrassing.

That doesn't quite mean she's ready to greet anyone, however. Any guests popping in will swiftly find out that the hab is alive with the sound of music. Rather than claiming a few miles the way some of her teammates have, Karina's settled for a large, circular exercise room, with lockers and showers off to one side, and a recording studio off to the other. Seems like she's neglected to close the door to the recording studio while she tests the new piano. Music-wise, she seems to have settled on something you'd hear in a lounge rather than the chirpy pop that her Blue Rose persona would probably have suggested.

She won't notice anyone walking into the main room, given the level of noise around her, so sitting and listening to something a little closer to home than the vibra-trance and crystalwave of the future wouldn't be impossible if there's no reason to introduce yourself yet.

Training Gym: Karina's got your average exercise stuff already set up in her hab. It's a bit lower tech than the gym itself, but she's not quite ready to trust all the new stuff that's been put in her way just yet. However, there are some things one just can't practice in the hab areas. Like agility training. The flight ring is a new experience for her and she's determined to test all the ways that it's superior to her usual method of travel.

Besides, she's always been secretly a little jealous of Sky High. Being able to fly is just as amazing as she thought it would be. Now if only she could get the hang of those sharp corners. Karina's spent enough times overshooting and slamming into the walls, now she's moved to twisting and catching herself on them like she's landing from a jump. Every time she does, however, she stops and moves back to the beginning of the obscenely complicated course laid out in front of her. Unlike her time in the hab, however, she seems to be paying attention when she has a guest. On going back to the beginning again, she blinks at the company she's picked up.

"Sorry, were you trying to use this?" If nothing else, it'd give her an excuse to settle down and ice her shoulder a little.
