When they asked him what he wanted them to create for him, as per a place that was familiar to him he couldn't think of anything, not at first. The mere concept was beyond his ability to process at the time so he had to forego the answer until he actually had time to sit down and think about it. The answer he found ironic, in that the place he thought he'd feel the most at home, that old hunk of junk salvage ship of Howard's, was something he turned down receiving as a sort of weird passing of the torch from one old codger to the next generation.

Maybe it woulda helped him cope with the end of the war, but he didn't really want to get wrapped up in so much responsibility so suddenly. Yet here he is, thrown into another unfamiliar situation with endless battles inevitably ahead, electing to stay on the sidelines for the first time in who knows how long. Then again, this was probably he first chance he had to be a mere civilian, and part of him was grateful for it.

Boarding his ship, he climbed the stairs that lead to the bridge and took it all in. His ship, was something he liked the sound of. It wasn't the same by any breath of the word, but acceptable. One big hanger topside next to a sizable flight deck, a crane which could pull things from under water up through a panel under the hull, and a cargo bay below deck along with crew quarters and work shops. More space that he knows what to do with, without his gundam to store in it.

Still he could find something to fill his time here, listening to the ocean waves instead of the constant buzz of every piece of advanced tech in his head. That was the downside to his powers. Constant noise, so far, when he was in the main crux of the Legion World or the ship that brought him here. Until he adjusted to that, he'd remain here in the habitat zone where it was quieter.

The ship wasn't nagging him to figure it out, or to fix it. It worked, it was stable, didn't have any pressing repairs to take on, so he was content to just relax in the peace of it all.

Eventually he gets up and heads out on deck, taking a seat on a lard pad of foam meant to cushion aircraft landings which came into fast. He lays down, looking up at the artificial sky and tried to relax.

"Well ole' girl. It's just you and me now."

Yelena had to admit she was lost. Especially since she was reluctant to actually ask anyone directions. This was a ship, right? That meant that theoretically there was only so lost she could get, right?

Those thoughts were getting less and less comforting the longer she was wandering the halls. It seemed like this whole place had been designed by creatures that didn't share a human mindset at all. Which, considering the appearance of some of the people she'd seen, might not be that far from the truth. Then she chided herself for that thought. One of her first teammates looked a whole lot like a humanoid lobster. Granted that had been because he was a human-lobster hybrid thanks to his scientist father, but that was beside the point. She should know better than to judge by appearances, no matter what Marketing said.

Maybe because she was concentrating on her thoughts and her thoughts about her thoughts was why she didn't realize that the door she'd pushed open led into a room that was already occupied. But she didn't stay oblivious for long. After all, not noticing people talking, even if they weren't talking to her, was a sure way for a super hero to get herself killed quite quickly.

"I'm sorry," she said, only just resisting the urge to hold her hands out to show they were empty - a pointless gesture from one with super powers, but still an almost universally acknowledged one nonetheless. "I must have made a wrong turn somewhere. I didn't mean to bother you

She was about to say that no, she was fine, but that was the Super Patriot response, the 'professional' response. And she was trying hard to remember that this wasn't the Super Patriots Inc, and she was still exploring what this meant. Seeing how far she could push things.

"I think I'm lost," she admitted.
