Jason: Episode 002

Who| Jason!
What| Training!
Where| The training gym and the shooting range!
When| Post-Ring Pop Power Hour!
Warnings/Notes| None!

Jason's got a routine. Back home, he'd spend about three hours a day doing exercise and practicing his martial arts, not counting the time he spent on his classes. The rest of the day was either dedicated to school or his friends. Or to actually saving the world.

On Legion World, his schedule ended up changing slightly. While he was sixteen and technically a legal adult, he kept up some education. Not much, only a few classes a day, but he couldn't just give up on school to be a superhero back home and he didn't see why that should change here.

The majority of his day, when he wasn't on monitor duty, was taken up by training. His schedule was fairly regular. Wake up at around six o'clock, make sure that the universe wasn't ending. Shower, brush teeth, eat a huge breakfast, and start working out at seven. Two hours of exercise, including jogging and weightlifting, then an hour of practicing his martial arts, usually alone. Then, a break at ten for another shower, lunch, and three forty-five minute classes. And, of course, the regular Legion training. Then, in the afternoon, another two hours of martial arts practice, followed by an hour of whatever hellish new exercise that Aizawa had put out for him. Then an hour of cooling down, followed by half an hour of Science Police-level training with the blaster pistol he'd gotten from Engineering. After that, dinner followed by whatever struck his fancy. Usually more martial arts, running, or swimming.

Honestly, watching the Earth from space had grown a little boring after the first month or so. And, while the Legion people were friendly enough, he, well. He missed his friends. He didn't know whether time was passing at home or not, or how much trouble they were in without him. It wasn't like Zordon and Alpha could just whip up a new Ranger out of nothing, after all. So, rather than focus on that or, you know, do the healthy thing and discuss it with the therapist, he buried himself in practice. It was fun, mostly, and it kept his mind off of things.

((So. Grab bag! If anyone wants to run into Jason, or have him run into them, in either working out in the gym, running, swimming, shooting at the range, practicing martial arts, or chowing down, feel free.))

Gwen sort of just listened, as she tried to make sense of what Jason was telling her. There was so much about this that didn't really add up to her.

Why?!

Why did this Rita person think that sending down an evil spider monster would let her take over the world?

"So all it did was... be big? Was that it?" Really trying to see the threat, here.

And he would be right in that she does think it's kind of lame. Though the part about the monsters being huge made it seem less lame. "Woah, really? Must've made a real mess all over the place if they could just be really big like that."

"So besides really big uh, spider robots, what other kind of monsters did you see?" Gwen was curious now, and she was hoping for something a little more neat than... a spider robot.

Like any other kind of robot, really
