It didn't take long at all to calm her down. As strange and scifi-y as the situation was, if Dipper said things were okay, then they most likely were. He was Mr. conspiracy theory, after all. He was the one always going on about danger and how she needed to be more careful and blah blah blah...so she trusted him. They'd been through too much together for her to not.

She took a few deep breaths and noted that it was a little hard to do. Not impossible or massively difficult. It was just kind of uncomfortable, like she'd just finished a marathon or spent too much time around really strong paint fumes.

Just what did she breathe in? Because it must have been really gross if it made her feel like this. Seriously, yuck.

"Okay, deep breathing has been officially Mabel'd. It didn't even stand a chance!" She smiled, to let him know that while she might not be in tippy-top condition she was okay, and then tried to situate herself so she felt less like someone stuck in a hospital and more like a kid ready for adventure. Or whatever this place had in store for them.

"So what's this new weirdness? Is it more Gravity Falls stuff?" Something told her no, mostly because Gravity Falls weird had a certain feel to it, and this was all too...serious.
