It's been an odd few weeks, to say the least. Wash barely waits to be out of the hospital before he heads to the lounge to set up a movie night. He's had a request for a classic, and he'd managed to get in an order for the film before everything had gone batshit insane, so it's already arrived and he's just about ready to go.

The usual snacks and drinks are set up, along with a few mugs and goblets that are a little closer to theme. There's also the usual sofas and couches, draped with blankets and with bean bag chairs strewn around around the room. The usual sign hangs outside the door, with the movie's MPAA rating and a brief summary of the movie's plot, along with the usual note: Movie night is neutral territory.

The movie tonight, of course, is The Princess Bride.

She gets a slightly dumbfounded look as he finishes his last few chomps and swallows. Is she teasing him or genuinely asking?

"Um."

There's no other place he'd rather be right now, since both Roadhog and Fareeha are here, so it's not like he'd get cabin fever--but he might very well get restless if he's expected to sit down and be silent for more than a few minutes.

Honesty is probably the best policy here, regardless of what angle she's taking. He offers her a shrug of surrender.

"Probably, yeah."

"Should make tonight interesting." She smiles at him, then continues on with the snacks. "It's been a while since I've seen this one, you should at least stick around for the fire swamp scene; I think you'd like that part."

She liked that scene too, as well as all of the swordplay.

"Swap scene? I'll just have ta take yer word fer it."

He shrugs, then lets go of her so he can pick up his own plate and gather up what looks interesting, even if he doesn't know what it is.

"Apparently it made an impression if ya remember a scene from it."

She chuckles, "I think I can remember a bit more than just the swamp scene." She couldn't recite it word for word like some people, but for how old it is it's certainly stuck around in pop culture. Content with the selection on her plate, she gathers that up with her drink and goes to find a comfy seat.

He tilts his head to the side in response to her comment. Somehow, it sounds like a movie she really does hold in high regard...maybe he should pay attention to it more than usual.

"Oh!"

He bounds up behind her when it's clear what she's looking for.

"Roadie found a place for all of us to sit," he says, gesturing in the direction of his friend.
