Movie Night V: This Time It's Personal

For once, it's been a fairly good week. For once, nobody is dead or dying or severely traumatized. It might actually be a good time to introduce horror movies to people, and for Wash to make good on a months-old promise.

He's finally showing Scream.

The customary snack and drink tables are set up, with a bit more open space now that he's realized people are willing to contribute to them. Chairs and cushions and couches are arranged for easy viewing of the projector screen, with stacks of blankets and pillows within reach. Outside the door is a sign with the movie's title, MPAA rating, and a brief summary, along with a pair of notes added: This movie is meant to be scary, and it IS violent, along with the usual Movie night is neutral territory.

Dammit, that's his favorite shirt.

Wash looks down at the mechanical finger poking his chest, then up at Junkrat. "Good to know." From what he's been told and what he can tell, he's pretty sure Junkrat is going to be on his Would Make A Good Red Or Blue list; the main question is whether he handles more like Caboose or Sarge, and the only way he's going to find that out is through further conversation. "Where'd you get the meat?"

"What meat?"

Junkrat tilts to the side, a devious trickster smile growing across his face.

"Only brought vejjo dishes with me, mate. Not a peck of animal product in 'em."

Wash blinks and glances back at the spread. It all looks pretty damn convincing, which, in some ways, is just as boggling as the bag of holding Junkrat was keeping it in. "If that's the case, that's pretty impressive." It also means he hasn't gone to America or the black market. Good to know.

"Aw, t'was nothin'!" Junkrat waves it off, feigning humility when he's really eating it up. "Y'see, me best friend and I, we have a pretty peculiar diet. Livin' in a wasteland, ya gotta eat whatever ya can come across, but we try ta go meat-free whenever we can. Bet he'd be pretty keen on this place 'cause of that, ehehehe! Oh..."

Junkrat taps a finger against his chin in afterthought.

"Except for the no-killin' thing, that'd be pretty rough. Been havin' a hard enough time with it myself."

That's right, Wash.

Vegetarian killers.

"Eh!" Junkrat shrugs animatedly. "Reckon he'd get over it eventually."
