MedBay is a lot busier than usual. At least they're prepared, to an extent; the last thing anyone wants is for half the Legion to return from what should have been a diplomatic mission with a variety of injuries ranging from minor to debilitating, but they'll handle it. That's what they're here for.

And, after they've managed to get everyone stabilized, they'll even allow visitors. Come see how your friends are doing.

Wash actually ponders that one for a bit.

"Normally, I'd say yes." This is a lie. "But it's vegan pizza, and I'm pretty sure you respect vegan food as much as you respect anything else-" Which is to say, not at all. "-so I'm gonna go with no."

"And here I was about to offer to take point on the whole pizza situation next time we educate the uncultured masses about good movies."

Because that is a "we" thing now. Apparently.

"Yes, we're doing it again, but that doesn't make you part of the planning committee. Namely because there isn't one. It's just me."

It's almost as if they weren't just talking about ways in which Grif can be selfless.

"I'll be proud if you ever follow through on anything." It's funny because a hypothetical lack of pizza doesn't have the potential to really hurt anyone. They both know they're not talking about anything that counts. It's fine.

Grif stretches out nonchalantly, then winces again. "Ow."

"Fine." Because there are hills worth dying on, but this definitely isn't one of them. "You're in charge of bringing half of the pizza." Because that way, when Grif doesn't follow through, they'll still have pizza.

Grif has won. Somehow, getting put in charge of something (even if he's only half in charge) is winning for once instead of the opposite.

At least pizza's not something he'd sell to the other team.

"You'll see. You'll all see!" he says as he gets up. Just... ignore that he has to put a hand on the wall to steady himself a little bit.

"I'm gonna go see if I can find anything to eat right now. Don't have too much fun in here."
