To be perfectly frank, while Jason had always heard about how amazing swimming is supposed to be for exercise, he'd always been one of those guys who believes that if you aren't drenched in sweat, you're not really working out hard enough. Unfortunately, the pool kind of washes away all the sweat. As a result, he really only hops into a pool for either fun or an extended cooldown.

For all the advances in technology the future made, swimming pools seemed to stay the same. There were probably some wild and crazy ones out there, but the default configuration in the Legion's training areas was an Olympic-sized pool. One that Jason had all to himself, until just now.

As it was, Jason was slowing down. He'd done ten laps and was slowly moving from exercise to simply fooling about in the pool, paddling and splashing about more than actually working. It took him a moment to realize that he had an audience of one now, even if he didn't recognize the guy. Then again, he'd been on Legion World for months and still hadn't met all the staff. Oh, well. He raised a hand in greeting, stopping to tread water. "Hey. How's it going?"

Friendly enough, at least."
