It still boggled Sam's mind that everyone had just blown Rich off like that. He hadn't been part of the caped community at that point, so he knew he only had an outside perspective of what was going on - but as important as protecting their identities was, it seemed like common sense that they ought to be more worried about staying alive and having a planet to protect them on.
