"...I don't mind, I'm just teasing you," Tadashi reassured her, staring in confusion at the surprise pancakes. "I'm glad you feel comfortable enough with me to poke at me."

He tore his gaze away from the pancakes and shook his head. "I definitely liked them better than the fire powers. Unfortunately, it was temporary, and a result of something causing chaos everywhere else on Legion World. I did get to patch up a lot of minor bumps and bruises and scratches, and fortunately no one got hurt bad enough to really need my powers. But it was nice."

He took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "Sometimes I think it always could have been worse," he said. "I'm glad you got rid of your cursed tattoo-bruise, though. Do you want to talk about it?"
