Needling Drift is far too easy. While he seems reluctant to bring up their previous arrangements, the Decepticon is more than happy to, and that gives him the upper hand here. Even maintaining an impressively even temper compared to his time as Deadlock, Megatron could still see the little chinks in his armor. The flicker and twitch of a mech just barely tolerating his situation.

"A way of life?" he asks, although surprisingly not as sarcastically as one expected. "And what way would that be, exactly?"

He gestures flippantly, rather uninterested, but willing to go through the motions. If he and Drift were going to fight together again, it would behoove him to actually learn more about how his former soldier had changed.
