"Ignorance of the law is no excuse," Rico starts boredly, like it's something he's said a million times before. But something catches his attention, and he loses what little interest he had in preaching about the law.

The revelation that Drift is a fellow legionnaire gets him a considering head-tilt, and then, slowly, a smile that's a little too much teeth. That certainly explains some things. Rico may not be required to do as much as he did before, but there were some things he'd just be shooting himself in the foot not to do. Like keeping tabs on the Legionnaire personnel files.

"And so how are you finding things on our lovely little Legion World?" Rico asks, suddenly graciously.
