"I like the ones I've met so far," Connie chuckles as she quiets down to listen. It sounds nice, it really does.

Connie may be missing a lot but time-wise but, that return to normal or...well, maybe a little past normal and back to a different extreme of absurd seems to be doing both Carolina and Wash good. The Project didn't exactly breed a healthy environment for relationships between Freelancers or Sim Troopers but she's glad they've still got the chance to make new friends. Trustworthy ones too, from the sound of it.

"I'm glad you both got a second chance," she says, giving Carolina's hand a light squeeze, "And I'm glad you're here."
