Moonlight and Magnolia [Closed]
Who| Wash and Connie, both early PFL timeline
What| Time to go consummate a relationship that never actually happened.
Where| Connie's hab
When| During Time Ripples
Warnings/Notes| We are absolutely fading to black here.
This whole place is weird, honestly. York's debrief packet helped, and evidently some future version of him had had enough foresight to make a map, so Wash isn't having any difficulty getting around. The problem is that, whenever he stops to talk to someone, they look at him like they're expecting something, like he's supposed to know them somehow, and they're inevitably disappointed when he doesn't. Plus, they just keep calling him Freelancer, which is off-putting at best. He has a name, thanks.
So while his trip to the mess hall was successful, he doesn't stick around, instead retreating to the little house/bar York has set up on the habitat deck. York gets it, and this weird future version of York doesn't treat him like he's a complete idiot. It's nice, honestly. He probably shouldn't get used to it, or he'll be in for a rude awakening when he finally does wake up where he's supposed to be.
For now, he pushes open the door and heads inside. "I got milk," he calls, because he'd had a reason for going to the mess hall. "Kind of." The vegan space future is going to take some getting used to.

A warm smile crosses her face as she sees him, turning a little in her seat to give him a proper greeting. The packet had said Wash was here but it's always a comfort to see her best friend.
"Hey, Wash."
