He's been feeling a little better, but it comes and goes, making it so he's been feeling thoroughly moody in true teen fashion. This teen angst thing really has him acutely aware of how much he's not 12 anymore, because he never used to get in moods like this -- and he's not sure it's 100% just the trauma.
A lot of it is just...feelings. He seems to have a lot more of them now.
Hearing that it's Pidge makes him feel conflicted. On the one hand, he really likes Pidge and wants to know if she's okay after everything. On the other hand, he's mortally embarrassed that it took him almost eating his crush to realize he has a crush.
Bless the future for voice-activated technology because it means he doesn't have to get up from where he's laying upside down on the couch to turn on the intercom to answer her.
