"Everything's all futuristic. It's like somethin' out of a sci-fi movie. You can do almost anything with the push of a button. Sometimes, not even that."

It was actually pretty cool sometimes—it encouraged the lazy teenager in him—but he would absolutely still be the first to complain about how it was 'nothing like the good old days.'

"But the worst thing about being here is the powers. I mean, I had them before I got here, but now they're different. I had to get used to having 'em all over again."

And honestly, he couldn't even imagine what it would be like for people who never had superpowers at all. He considered himself lucky, in that sense.
