Ana smiles warmly. It's obvious that this part of her life weighs heavily on her at times, but she doesn't want it dragging down someone as young and vibrant as Rebecca.
"You're a good soul, dear. You remind me a lot of my own daughter."
Fareeha had always been strong and idealistic. Even if Ana disapproved of her choice to join the military, she knew her daughter was someone to be proud of. Though what her daughter actually thought of her after what she put her through was another story entirely.
She stands up, boxing up what's left of her meal to take with her.
"Well, I'm glad that I could give you a pleasant afternoon, at least. But I should probably let you go for now. At this rate, I'm going to start going on about the good old days, complain about young people music, and whatever else it is old people do."
She gives Rebecca another warm smile.
"It was lovely talking to you, dear. If you ever want to train, or even just to talk, just let me know. I'm pretty easy to find when I want to be."
