It sounded like Ana was fond of her, actually, and Rebecca could relate to being young and being a trooper. Literally. She'd enlisted in the Pheraen army when she was fifteen because it was the right thing for herself, for her lord, and for her family. Sometimes, things just needed to get done.

"I might not look it, but I'm a soldier myself." And it's something she sounds a little proud to admit, even if she looked a little embarrassed. "I'm a sniper for the region I'm from, Pherae. I have no small amount of skill with a bow these days, though I don't think I've seen one since arriving here."

Why was she always seeing guns? Just when did archery go out of style?
