There was literally nothing about that sentence that he could relate to... Even washing clothes was a responsibility that tended to fall to someone else.

"Hey, it's cool, I got you," he says, an attempt at sounding reassuring. Kon was a bit naive and his social skills needed some work, but it's not hard to tell that she's feeling somewhat self-conscious about this. "You're not the only one who's new to this stuff. And, I mean, all this is pretty fancy even for me."

To be fair, everything was new to him, but there were still others around, people just like her who weren't familiar with things like TVs and computers. It didn't seem to happen much, but there were definitely other people here dragged in from different time periods.

"Everything's, you know, artificial in the future. They don't make food from animals anymore, and burgers are one of the best things animals ever did for us. You're missin' out."

He was missing out!
