"The food is fake?!" Rebecca immediately sounds alarmed. Then, what has she been eating this entire time? She doesn't even recall the word vegan aside from a few conversations she'd overheard. Veganism certainly isn't a concept in her personal world, no, vegetarianism is barely heard of. "And what's a burger?"

She's starting to have that feeling where she looks really stupid, like a country bumpkin. As if traveling the world and meeting nobles weren't hard enough, now she's traveling to the future? It's like she's a country bumpkin's country bumpkin, the most uneducated. It's frustrating!

"Oh...oh, the moving pictures...right, I watched some of those in the hospital...ah, some of them were alright, I think." There was that swimsuit hunk in that commercial. Why couldn't she have found more like that? "I must sound ridiculous to you. Oh, this is so frustrating. Look, I'm..."

She searches her brain for an example of her own culture.

"...when's the last time you've ever washed your clothes by hand in the river outside of a castle?"

Maybe that will help him figure out what kind of place she comes from. Lack of technology, mention of architecture...shes' a bit proud of that example, it paints a good picture!
