"You'd have to ask Winston back home about the specifics. Lena originally got unstuck in time in an accident, and Winston's chronal accelerator gave her those abilities, in addition to 'anchoring' her in time."

A lot of the fine details were beyond Ana's understanding too, but she made sure to keep appraised of Lena's condition and developing abilities. She suddenly started wondering how the little scamp was doing after all this time.

"I bet Reinhardt would get a kick out of you," she added with a laugh. "Trust me, call him 'Sir Reinhardt' and I bet you'll get the biggest smile out of him."

The Crusaders were an odd lot, carrying themselves like gallant knights of old. Ana wondered if it was something in their training, or if they just seemed to naturally attract that eccentric type of person to their ranks.

"How long, huh?" she continued thoughtfully. "I suppose not too long, relatively speaking. Compared to some of the other new arrivals, my world is fairly technologically advanced. Not nearly as much as this world, mind you, but enough that the only big things I had to get used to were aliens and superheroes."

"Of course, the whole Chronoblivion thing was hard to swallow at first, but after digging around in Legion reports it seems real enough for them to take it seriously, at least."
